Known for its extensive history of hidden secrets and Easter eggs, the Zombies mode has evolved over the years, with increasingly intricate maps and gameplay mechanics. 'The Tomb,' introduced in Season 2, is no exception, offering players various challenges and rewards.  However, this newest surprise focuses on delivering a good scare.

Recently, players have reported encountering a sudden jumpscare while navigating 'The Tomb.'  The frightening image of a zombie resembling a nun appears unexpectedly on screen, accompanied by whispering voices, creating a multi-layered suspenseful experience.

This jumpscare isn't entirely random.  Players have discovered that shooting specific statues located throughout the map triggers the event. These statues appear in randomized locations each game.  Shooting a statue once will cause the jumpscare to occur once, while shooting it multiple times will increase the number of times players experience the eerie encounter.  The statue's eyes will glow red, signaling that the Easter egg has been activated.

A clip shared online showcased the jumpscare in action.  The player, exploring the map with their teammate, triggered the Easter egg.  Moments later, while engaged in combat with a horde of zombies, the jumpscare appeared, seemingly disorienting the player and ultimately leading to their demise.
