The studio has unequivocally confirmed its commitment to working with human voice actors and rejecting the integration of AI in its game development process.

This public declaration comes in response to recent industry controversies and anxieties fueled by the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike.  Voice actress Marin M. Miller, who portrays Athena in Hades, previously expressed concerns about potential replacements due to the strike.  She encouraged fans to reach out to Supergiant Games and advocate for continued support of voice actors.

Addressing the ongoing discussions surrounding SAG-AFTRA agreements, Supergiant Games took to Bluesky to emphasize its dedication to human-crafted experiences.  The studio stated that its games are 'intentionally made by human beings' and will continue to be developed this way.

Supergiant unequivocally affirmed that voice actors are integral to their games and expressed no intention of discontinuing collaborations with them. While other titles, like Destiny 2, have been affected by the actor's strike, Supergiant confirmed its ongoing support for actors who may need to pause work due to SAG-AFTRA obligations.  The studio also reassured fans that none of its games have ever been subject to such contracts.  Furthermore, Supergiant claimed to have the strongest AI protections in the industry, with no AI currently being used in any aspect of its games.

Still in early access, Hades 2 continues to evolve and improve with each update, benefiting greatly from player feedback. The recent Warsong update introduced significant changes, including a new Olympian, a final boss for the surface route, and various content enhancements designed to refine the gameplay experience.
