The galactic conflict in Helldivers 2 continues to escalate with the release of the Borderline Justice Warbond, the latest premium DLC from Arrowhead Game Studios. This Warbond infuses the sci-fi shooter with a touch of the Wild West, offering players new ways to liberate Super Earth.

Arrowhead has consistently supported Helldivers 2 with both free major updates, such as the Omens of Tyranny patch, and paid Warbonds that provide additional cosmetic and gameplay options. These Warbonds often revolve around a central theme, and Borderline Justice is no different, drawing inspiration from the iconic American frontier.

Launching on March 20th, the Borderline Justice Warbond allows players to channel their inner space cowboy or Mandalorian warrior.  Two new weapons capture the spirit of the old west with a futuristic twist: the LAS-58 Talon, a laser revolver for the secondary slot, and the R-6 Deadeye, a lever-action hunting rifle.

A key addition in this Warbond is the LIFT-860 Hover Pack stratagem, granting players the ability to take to the skies, hover, and utilize ADS for pinpoint accuracy.  This jetpack adds a new dimension to combat, allowing for flanking maneuvers and aerial assaults.

The Borderline Justice Warbond also includes two armor sets: the GS-17 Frontier Marshal and the GS-66 Lawmaker heavy armor, the latter complete with a holster and bandolier to complete the space cowboy look.  Rounding out the package are a new player title, banners, capes, an emote, a utility item, and a throwable reminiscent of sci-fi dynamite.

While the Major Orders system continues to shape the evolution of Helldivers 2, players eagerly anticipate future content.  Arrowhead Game Studios remains engaged with the community, with CEO Shams Jorjani recently responding to fan requests for a minigun-style weapon, hinting at the possibility of its inclusion down the line.
