Star Wars Outlaws, a major 2024 AAA release, has seen a significant price reduction on Steam.  The game is now available at a 50% discount, its largest ever, just months after its arrival on Valve's platform. Previously, PC players could only access the game via the Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store.

Featuring a new protagonist, Kay Vess, Ubisoft's unique take on the Star Wars universe launched on August 30, 2024, for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles. Despite positive reviews, initial sales figures for Star Wars Outlaws fell short of expectations. Subsequent sales performance hasn't shown a significant uptick, with reports indicating it trailing behind 2023's Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.  This substantial discount on Steam could be a catalyst for increased sales.

As part of an ongoing Ubisoft sale, Star Wars Outlaws has plummeted to its all-time lowest price of $34.99 on Steam. This 50% discount is a limited-time offer, expiring on March 13, 2025. This price drop surpasses the previous historical low of $45.49 (35% off) offered briefly in January 2025, and comes just over six months after the game's August release.

The Ubisoft sale extends beyond Star Wars Outlaws, encompassing a variety of titles.  Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora also hit a record low price of $23.09 (67% off).  Fans of action-adventure games can snag Assassin's Creed: Mirage at its lowest-ever Steam price of $19.99 (60% off).  The city-building game Anno 1800 also joined the sale, reaching its historic lowest price of $5.99 (90% off).

Meanwhile, another major Ubisoft release is imminent. Assassin's Creed Shadows, after several delays, is finally set to launch on March 20, 2025. This highly anticipated title arrives at a critical juncture for the French gaming company amidst buyout speculation.
