Indie game developer Caldera Interactive is set to release their charming new title, The Rabbit Haul, in 2026.  This unique blend of farming simulation, tower defense, and adventure will be available on both PC (via Steam) and Nintendo Switch.

In The Rabbit Haul, players take on the role of an adorable rabbit tasked with rebuilding their home after a destructive raccoon invasion.  Days are spent cultivating crops and bolstering defenses by strategically planting protective flora. As night falls, the challenge shifts to defending the harvest and home against increasingly cunning waves of raccoon raiders.

This cycle of farm and fight continues, pushing players to strengthen their defenses and upgrade their abilities with each successful defense.  By repelling the raccoon onslaught, players progress the town's reconstruction and prepare for the next wave of challenges.

Daytime offers a relaxing experience, allowing players to carefully manage their farm.  Cultivate crops, plant defensive vegetation, water the fields, upgrade defenses, and stockpile harvested goods.  Strategic planting and plant synergy are key to maximizing yields and creating the ultimate farm layout.

When night arrives, the focus turns to active defense. Players must work alongside their defensive plants to protect their stockpile from increasingly formidable raccoon squads.  Each wave brings new enemy types and increased difficulty, all intent on plundering your hard-earned resources.  Upgrading weapons and defenses is crucial for survival.

Explore a procedurally generated world filled with hidden treasures and quests. Discover unique items and helpful companions to aid in rebuilding and fortifying your farm.
