Call of Duty: Minor Stability Update Deployed for Black Ops 6 and Warzone
2025-03-01 02:16:21A small update has arrived for Call of Duty players, addressing stability in both Black Ops 6 and Warzone. Developers Treyarch Studios and Raven Software continue their regular support of the titles with patches, though this late February update is less substantial than previous releases.
With Season 2 winding down, players are eagerly anticipating the arrival of Season 3, rumored to be a significant update. The potential highlight? The return of the original Warzone battle royale map, Verdansk. Activision confirmed Verdansk's return for Spring 2025 back in 2024, and leaks suggest Season 3, expected in March, will be the stage for this triumphant comeback.
The February 28th patch, described as a "minor stability update" by the official Call of Duty Updates Twitter account, is available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The download size is approximately 500mb, varying slightly across platforms. Detailed patch notes are not available, suggesting the update primarily focuses on stability improvements rather than gameplay changes or bug fixes.
A more significant update was deployed on February 26th, which addressed various bugs in both Black Ops 6 and Warzone, including the reactivation of the "East Main Street" door buy in Black Ops 6 Zombies. Ranked Play enthusiasts also benefited from the update, which unrestricted the Recoil Springs Fire Mod for the Jackal PDW submachine gun.
Following today's update, the Call of Duty Updates Twitter account acknowledged an issue with Black Ops 6's new D1.3 Sector weapon. Currently, the "Fast Times" camo challenge is not tracking one-shot kills correctly in multiplayer. Treyarch is hopefully working on a fix for this issue in a future update.
