The free DLC for DNF Duel has been confirmed for a May release by Creative Director Junho Lee.  This news arrived alongside the game's first balance patch, which went live earlier today.

In a post detailing the balance adjustments, Lee confirmed the upcoming free DLC, stating that more specific details will be shared closer to its completion.  While the contents of the DLC remain undisclosed, it marks the first major content update for the fighting game since its launch.  Additional updates with unspecified improvements are also planned for the near future, some as early as next week.

The recently implemented balance patch coincides with DNF Duel's official launch, concluding its early access period.  These adjustments address various aspects of gameplay, aiming to refine the balance between challenge and fairness. Notable changes include a damage buff to the Giant Sword's "Brutal Attack" skill, adjustments to the "Illusion: Heat Lance" skill's resource consumption, and targeted balance tweaks to several bosses.  For example, the difficulty of the "Viper" and "Malucca" boss fights has been reduced, while other bosses perceived as weaker than intended have received buffs. Improvements to the easy mode's rewards are also included in this patch.
