Leaks surrounding Genshin Impact's upcoming 5.6 update have surfaced, revealing estimated free Primogem counts and details about new characters, generating buzz within the community.

A recent chart circulating online predicts that players can obtain approximately 9,265 free Primogems in Update 5.6, equivalent to around 57 wishes.  This estimation accounts for rewards from consistent content like the Spiral Abyss and Daily Commissions, along with anticipated event rewards based on current leaks.  This figure could potentially increase if new explorable areas are introduced.

However, this projection has sparked some disappointment among players.  Compared to the estimated 80 free pulls in the current 5.5 update,  57 wishes fall short of guaranteeing a 5-star character, given the 90-wish pity system. Players are eagerly awaiting official announcements from HoYoverse regarding new playable characters.

Leaks heavily suggest the arrival of two new characters: Escoffier and Ifa.  Escoffier, previously referred to as the "chef character," was featured in the recent Varesa character trailer, confirming her as a Cryo character.  Leaked kit information points towards her being a 5-star support character.

Ifa, the Natlan veterinarian, also made an official appearance in the previous Special Program. While generating initial excitement, recent beta leaks indicate Ifa will be a 4-star character, contrary to player hopes for a 5-star rarity. This has led to some disappointment, particularly given Ifa's highly praised character design.
