The explosive mecha action of Mecha BREAK is arriving sooner than you think! Developer Amazing Seasun Games has confirmed a Spring 2025 release window, exclusively for Xbox Series X|S consoles initially.  PC players won't be left out in the cold, however, as the game will launch simultaneously on Steam and Windows via the Xbox app.

This exciting news follows a successful beta period in August 2024, where Mecha BREAK garnered over a million wishlists on Steam and generated significant buzz.  The game was first revealed at The Game Awards 2023 and received another update at the 2024 show, showcasing thrilling new gameplay and solidifying the 2025 release.

Amazing Seasun Games has also confirmed that PlayStation 5 owners can look forward to piloting their own mechs later in 2025. The studio plans to release the game on 'more platforms' following the Xbox and PC launch.

In a collaborative effort, developers from Xbox are assisting Amazing Seasun Games to ensure key features like cross-play and cross-save are implemented from day one for Xbox Series X|S and PC players. It remains unclear whether these features will extend to the PlayStation 5 version.

Following the open beta, fan feedback has been pouring in, with some players suggesting improvements like the removal of bots to create a pure player-versus-player experience.  During the beta, bots filled empty team slots prior to match commencement.

Mecha BREAK promises a diverse range of gameplay modes, including 3v3 Deathmatch, 6v6 Hero Shooter, and a compelling PvPvE Extraction Shooter mode.  In the Extraction mode, three-player squads battle across a sprawling 200-square-kilometer combat zone, scavenging loot and valuable materials to customize their mechs.

Customization options are extensive, allowing players to modify their mechs with an array of weapons, parts, and eye-catching paint jobs.  Further updates and content are planned following the initial launch, leading up to and beyond the PlayStation 5 release.
