Fuecoco Ignites Pokémon GO's March Community Day

Pokémon GO is turning up the heat with its upcoming March Community Day, featuring the fiery Paldean starter, Fuecoco. Mark your calendars for Saturday, March 8th, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time.

During this event, Fuecoco will appear more frequently in the wild, giving players ample opportunities to catch this charming Fire-type.  And for those lucky trainers, the chances of encountering a shiny Fuecoco will be significantly increased.

Evolving your Fuecoco into Crocalor and then into Skeledirge up to a week after the event will grant your Skeledirge the powerful Charged Attack Blast Burn. As an added bonus, all Skeledirge, regardless of when they're evolved, will be able to learn the Charged Attack Torch Song starting with this event.

This Community Day marks the first event of Pokémon GO's exciting new season, launching on March 4th after the Dual Destiny season concludes.

To aid trainers in evolving their Fuecoco, the Community Day offers generous bonuses.  Enjoy triple Stardust and double Candy from catching Pokémon.  Trainers level 31 and above will also have double the chance of earning Candy XL.

Furthermore, Lure Modules and Incense activated during the event will last for three hours, excluding the Daily Incense. Take advantage of the reduced Stardust cost for trading Pokémon (50% less) and the ability to make up to two Special Trades from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM local time.

Special Community Day-themed Research tasks will provide additional rewards such as Stardust, Great Balls, and more encounters with Fuecoco.  Completing Field Research might even reward you with a Fuecoco sporting a unique background.

Given Fuecoco's popularity, this Community Day is anticipated to be a major hit among Pokémon GO players.

While the Fuecoco Community Day is still a few weeks away, trainers can participate in the upcoming Scattered to the Winds event featuring shiny Scatterbug, Pidgey, Caterpie, and more.  Speculation is also rife that Quaxly, the final Paldean starter, might be featured in a future Community Day.
