The upcoming Genshin Impact Version 5.5 is generating significant excitement with the official unveiling of Varesa, the 5-star character hailing from the Collective of Plenty. While a new face in the game, expectations are high, particularly surrounding her potential team synergies.

Initially, some players anticipated Iansan to be the featured 5-star from her tribe, leading to some apprehension about Varesa.  However, the Version 5.5 beta quickly dispelled those concerns, showcasing the remarkable synergy between Varesa and Iansan's abilities. Varesa is shaping up to be a unique Plunge hypercarry, while Iansan possesses the potential to challenge even Bennett's dominance in certain team compositions.

Leaks from the latest beta build for Genshin Impact have also revealed the 4-Star characters accompanying Varesa, Xianyun, Xilonen, and Venti in Version 5.5. Officially introduced on Reddit via the game's official channels, Varesa is described as Iansan's pupil, an orchard owner, and a formidable warrior of the Collective of Plenty. Wielding an Electro Vision and a Catalyst, her physical combat style draws inspiration from Mexican luchadoras.

Players can encounter Varesa in Version 5.5 by completing the Tribal Chronicles for the Collective of Plenty.  She is also expected to appear in the Flagship Event set in Natlan, likely during the first half of the Event Banners.  Players aiming to acquire her should manage their Primogems carefully during the Furina and Wriothesley phase of Version 5.4.

Varesa's gameplay promises to be a thrilling addition to Genshin Impact, projecting her as a top-tier Electro hypercarry, particularly when teamed with Furina, Iansan, and Xianyun. Her Signature Weapon, Vivid Notions, will further enhance her abilities, although the Skyward Atlas serves as a viable alternative.
