Genshin Impact's Version 5.4 introduces a captivating lineup of characters on the Event Banners, including the debut of Mizuki and highly anticipated reruns for Furina, Wriothesley, and Sigewinne.

While Yumemizuki Mizuki is poised to be the star of the update, the return of these Fontaine characters holds significant weight.  Furina, renowned as a top-tier Support character, is expected to be a popular choice, especially among newer players exploring Teyvat.

Mizuki, a psychologist and tapir yokai, specializes in soothing the nightmares and traumas of her patients.  Her gameplay is anticipated to resemble a 5-Star version of Sucrose, excelling in Taser teams while also offering healing capabilities. Her ties to both Natlan and Sumeru, along with her global travels to hone her craft, add an intriguing layer to her character.  Players can delve deeper into Mizuki's story through her dedicated Story Quest and the Version 5.4 Flagship Event.

The official Genshin Impact Reddit account confirmed the Version 5.4 Event Banners.  While the character lineup wasn't a complete surprise to those following leaks, the specific order of appearance did raise eyebrows. Wriothesley sharing the second half with Furina, while Mizuki is paired with Sigewinne, presents both advantages and disadvantages. This order benefits Wriothesley fans but might impact players aiming for Mizuki's Signature Weapon, given the niche appeal of Sigewinne's Silvershower Heartstrings.

Furina appears to be the central figure of these Event Banners. Sigewinne is considered her optimal healer, and both Wriothesley and Mizuki benefit greatly from having Furina on their team.  Rumored 4-Star characters for Version 5.4 include Chongyun, Sayu, Gorou, and Mika.  Furthermore, Furina's valuable Constellations offer compelling reasons to pull for her even if she's already part of your roster.

After her debut, Yumemizuki Mizuku will join the Standard Banner in Version 5.6. Skipping her Limited Banner in 5.4 means waiting until May 7, 2025, for another opportunity to obtain her.  Version 5.4 also marks Wriothesley's return after a long absence from Event Banners since Version 4.1.  He offers a fresh approach to Cryo gameplay with potent damage output.

Version 5.4 is scheduled to launch on February 12, 2025.
