Pokemon Sleep continues to expand its roster with the exciting announcement of Legendary Pokémon Cresselia and Mythical Pokémon Darkrai joining the game in March 2025. This marks a significant milestone, with Cresselia being the fourth Legendary and Darkrai the first Mythical Pokémon introduced since the game's launch in July 2023.

Following the successful introduction of the Legendary trio Entei, Raikou, and Suicune in a limited-time event in September 2024,  The Pokemon Company now brings two fan-favorite Sinnoh Pokémon to the sleep-tracking mobile game.

The upcoming 'Cresselia vs Darkrai' event tasks players with dispelling a nightmare brought on by Darkrai, aligning perfectly with Pokemon Sleep's core focus of improving sleep quality. As revealed in the Pokemon Presents 2025 livestream trailer, Cresselia will empower players' Drowsy Power to combat Darkrai's influence.

Players are encouraged to maximize their Drowsy Power by improving their Sleep Score and strengthening their Snorlax in preparation for the challenging event. More details about the 'Cresselia vs Darkrai' event, scheduled for late March 2025, will be shared soon.

The official Pokemon Sleep website highlights the effectiveness of Psychic-type helper Pokémon during this event.  With currently eight Psychic-types available, including Espeon, Mr. Mime, and Gardevoir, players should prioritize leveling up these Pokémon for a strategic advantage.

To celebrate the event, players can claim a free gift containing 10 Poke Biscuits and 1,000 Diamonds by logging in before April 30, 2025.  This bonus follows a successful year for Pokemon Sleep, which saw impressive earnings and a notable collaboration with pop star Dua Lipa.  As the game's popularity continues to grow, expect even more iconic Pokémon additions throughout 2025.
