Celestial Mahjong (PC/iOS/Android) is ushering in the Lunar New Year with a burst of exciting updates!  Starting today, January 27th, players can enjoy limited-time events, the introduction of the unique Hong Kong Mahjong “Paomazai” gameplay, and the debut of the exclusive character, Bai Zhuqingxue.  To celebrate the game's recent climb to the top charts across multiple platforms, the developers are also gifting two free characters to all players!

Voiced by renowned Japanese voice actress Yoko Hikasa, Bai Zhuqingxue slithers into Celestial Mahjong as a limited-time character, embodying the elegance of a white snake. Players can encounter her in the special "Snake Dance Shadow" summoning banner.  Accompanying her arrival are limited-time cosmetic items, including the "Golden Snake New Year" outfit, the "Year of the Snake" themed table, and the "Spring Reflection" Riichi stick. These festive additions are sure to enhance the Lunar New Year atmosphere within the game.

The "Snake Dance Shadow" summoning banner and the cosmetic bundles will be available from January 27th (after maintenance) to February 17th at 03:59.

To celebrate the Lunar New Year, Celestial Mahjong is launching the “Yuanchen Sidong” event. By completing event tasks, players can earn free rewards, including a limited-edition Year of the Snake avatar frame, title, summoning tickets, and various in-game gifts.

Adding to the festivities, the special Hong Kong Mahjong gameplay mode “Paomazai” is available for a limited time in casual matches.  This unique mode introduces special rules where players can earn bonus points called "Jiangma" by self-drawing or claiming tiles through Kongs.  Experience the thrill of this fast-paced mode and test your luck in the New Year!

To thank players for their incredible support in propelling Celestial Mahjong to the top of the charts on Steam, the App Store, and Google Play, the developers are giving away two free characters!  Two limited-time summoning banners will have their costs reduced, and all players will receive enough "Shining Moonstones" for one ten-pull on each banner.  This guarantees that each player will receive one male and one female character from the designated pools.
