Subscribers to PlayStation Plus Premium have made their voices heard, ranking the 10 games they most desire to see added to the service's Classics Catalog.  PS Plus Premium, the highest tier of the PlayStation Plus subscription, grants access to monthly free games (Essential tier), a library of PS4 and PS5 titles (Extra tier), and a curated selection of retro games spanning PS1, PS2, PS3, and PSP.

These classic titles often benefit from modern enhancements like save states, trophy support, and a rewind feature.  While new games are added to the Premium tier regularly, many highly anticipated retro titles are still missing.  Let's dive into the top 10 games Premium subscribers are clamoring for.

Based on 1,400 fan requests compiled by Implicit Conversions (via PlayStation Lifestyle), the company responsible for porting many retro games to PS4 and PS5, the 10 most sought-after PS Plus Premium additions are (in descending order): The Simpsons: Hit & Run, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, God of War: Ghost of Sparta, Legend of Legaia, Ape Escape 3, Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus, Silent Hill 2, Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, Ratchet & Clank, and God of War: Chains of Olympus.  Since this data was collected, Sly Cooper has already joined the Premium lineup.

While Ratchet & Clank is currently available for streaming via the PS Plus Premium cloud gaming service, it's likely subscribers are requesting the downloadable PS2 version for offline play.

Several of these games have a reasonable chance of appearing on PS Plus Premium in the future. Rockstar Games, with its strong history with PlayStation, could potentially add both Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories, two acclaimed PSP titles.  Sony-owned franchises like God of War and Ape Escape also have a higher probability of joining the service.

However, games like The Simpsons: Hit & Run and Silent Hill 2 face significant hurdles. Silent Hill 2, in particular, is unlikely due to complications with the original game's source code.  Despite these challenges, fans eagerly await each month's PS Plus Premium announcement, hoping to see their most-wanted titles finally arrive.
