Following the successful launch and critical acclaim of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, anticipation is building for the future of the series.  The game, released in February 2025, impressed players with its captivating narrative and historical setting, blending fictional characters with real historical figures and events in 15th-century Bohemia.

Luke Dale, the actor behind the beloved character Hans Capon, recently shared his ideal scenario for a sequel in an interview with Dan Allen Gaming.  Dale expressed a strong interest in exploring the Hussite Wars, a period of religious and political upheaval in Bohemia. "If resources were unlimited," Dale stated, "I'd love to see a game set during the Hussite Wars.  It's a remarkably rich historical period that deserves more attention. The stories, the stakes, and the historical nuances of that era would make for an incredible game."

The Hussite Wars, beginning in 1419, would represent a 16-year jump from the events of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, posing an interesting narrative challenge for Warhorse Studios should they choose to pursue this direction.  This time skip would allow for exploration of the ramifications of the events of the previous game and the evolving political landscape of Bohemia.

Dale remained tight-lipped about his involvement in a potential Kingdom Come: Deliverance 3, saying, "Whatever Warhorse does, I'm confident they'll excel. They pour their heart and passion into their projects, and that's why they consistently deliver quality."  Fans of Hans Capon shouldn't be too concerned by Dale's apparent uncertainty, however. He famously denied involvement in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 for years to preserve the surprise of its announcement.

While speculation about a sequel continues, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 still has much to offer.  Warhorse Studios has outlined a roadmap for 2025, including three paid DLC releases: Brushes with Death, Legacy of the Forge, and Mysteria Ecclesiae.  Details about these expansions remain scarce, adding to the anticipation for upcoming content.
