The original Earthfall allowed players to journey to the alien homeworld, Super Earth, for a desperate defense against the invaders.  New leaks suggest that a defense mode is in development for Earthfall 2, and this time, the invasion might be unstoppable.

Data miner IronS1ghts has uncovered evidence that developer Arrowhead Game Studios continues to work on new content set on Super Earth, including the addition of urban environments.  IronS1ghts' leaks also revealed upcoming customization options, including armor skins and weapon attachments.

While urban environments were introduced to the game with the arrival of the Illuminate, the leaked Super Earth city map is reportedly a unique location, though currently populated with placeholder assets.  Currently, only Illuminate enemies spawn in this new environment.  Attempts to spawn robots reportedly crash the game, although this could be attributed to the early stage of development.
