Xbox seems to have several significant unannounced games in the pipeline for release before 2025, based on recent remarks from Phil Spencer. The CEO of Microsoft Gaming carefully avoided revealing specifics, but his cautious tone suggests that more surprises could be on the way for Xbox fans.

Xbox Game Pass has been particularly active lately, offering highly anticipated titles like Avowed and South of Midnight at launch. With more major releases expected, Spencer's comments hint at additional announcements in the near future.

In a recent interview with Variety, Spencer was asked about his most anticipated games for the remainder of 2025. After praising Avowed and South of Midnight, along with upcoming titles like Doom: The Dark Ages and The Outer Worlds 2, he hesitated before adding, "There's more stuff, some stuff that's unannounced and I'm walking in my head to make sure I don't leak anything." This suggests that Xbox may have additional game announcements in store.

The interview, conducted before the release of A Minecraft Movie in April, also touched on Microsoft's approach to adapting video game IPs for film and TV. While Spencer expressed enthusiasm for successful adaptations like Fallout, he emphasized that the gaming industry thrives independently. He also reaffirmed Microsoft's collaborative relationship with Nintendo, hinting at potential behind-the-scenes projects ahead of the Switch 2 launch.
