However, acquiring tickets has proven challenging, creating an opening for scalpers.

Reports indicate tickets for European events in cities like London, Madrid, and locations in Italy are being listed for as much as 300 Euros.  Meanwhile, removed listings for the New York playtest reportedly reached prices nearing $1000.  This profiteering is particularly concerning given that the tickets are explicitly non-transferable, as clearly stated on Nintendo's official FAQ page for the event.

While several games have already been announced for the Switch 2, including a new Mario Kart title set to be detailed during an April Nintendo Direct livestream, the full launch lineup remains a mystery.  This upcoming Direct will likely provide crucial information regarding the console's release date and launch titles, further fueling anticipation.

Nintendo began sending confirmation emails to selected playtest participants earlier this week, also implementing a waitlist system for those who missed the initial selection. This allows hopeful attendees a chance to participate should a confirmed guest need to cancel.
