Launched in December, the themes featured distinct visuals and audio designed to evoke memories of different PlayStation eras, encompassing the PS1, PS2, PS3, and PS4, alongside a dedicated theme celebrating the entire PlayStation brand's 30-year history.
While the initial celebratory availability concluded on January 31st, as confirmed by Sony via social media, the company expressed gratitude for the enthusiastic player response. This positive reception prompted Sony to reconsider the limited-time nature of these classic console themes.
Responding to the high demand, Sony revealed that after some necessary technical adjustments, the themes will be re-released in the coming months. Fans can look forward to once again enjoying these nostalgic tributes to PlayStation's legacy.
