Sony's PlayStation Plus subscription service continually evolves its Extra and Premium game catalog, adding new titles while retiring others. This dynamic nature keeps the service fresh but also means subscribers must bid farewell to some beloved games.

Since its revamp in 2022, PS Plus has aimed to rival Xbox Game Pass, regularly expanding its library with both day-one releases and established hits. Titles like Dave the Diver, Animal Well, and Stray have all launched directly onto the service, enhancing the value proposition for Extra and Premium members.

While the service regularly welcomes new additions, some popular games inevitably depart each month. In March 2025, titles such as Resident Evil 3, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, and Mortal Kombat 11 were among those removed. Now, predictions are surfacing for April's departures.

A Reddit user, kayrakaanonline, with a history of accurately predicting PS Plus removals, has offered insights into which games might be leaving in April. This user correctly identified 5 out of the 10 games removed in March, lending credibility to their latest predictions.

The potential departures for April include notable titles like Animal Well, Tales of Kenzera: Zau, Dave the Diver, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, DOOM, Wolfenstein: The New Order, Dead Island 2, and Grand Theft Auto 5.

Many of the predicted departures, such as Animal Well, Dave the Diver, and Tales of Kenzera: Zau, were day-one releases on PS Plus. These titles often leave the service after approximately a year, aligning with the Reddit user's observations.

Other games on the list, including Kena: Bridge of Spirits, DOOM, and Wolfenstein: The New Order, have been available for almost two years, increasing the likelihood of their removal.

Grand Theft Auto 5 presents a more complex case. It returned to PS Plus in November 2024 after a previous removal in June 2024. This pattern suggests a six-month rotation, potentially indicating another departure in the coming months. However, historical trends suggest it might remain until May.

While Sony has yet to officially confirm the April departures, the Reddit user's track record suggests these predictions hold weight.  Subscribers should stay tuned for official announcements to know for certain which games will be leaving the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalogs.
