The first wave of Xbox Game Pass titles for March 2025 has been revealed, boasting a diverse selection of six games, including the highly anticipated One Lonely Outpost.  As often happens, one of the month's additions, Monster Train, surprised subscribers with an early release ahead of the official announcement.

Microsoft had previously confirmed two day-one releases for March: the ambitious 33-player co-op roguelike, 33 Immortals, and the intriguing survival action game, Atomfall.

The initial lineup for March 2025 kicks off with the return of Monster Train, a strategic deck-building game, and culminates with the early access release of 33 Immortals.  Sandwiched between these two titles are the cozy farming sim One Lonely Outpost, the frenetic bullet hell action of Enter the Gungeon, and the retro-inspired shooter Mullet Madjack.

One Lonely Outpost, making its console debut, arrives as a day-one release on March 6th.  Originally launched on PC in June 2023, this sci-fi farming simulator's console port will initially be available only on higher Xbox Game Pass tiers.  Similarly, Mullet Madjack, which first appeared on Steam in May 2024, joins the service as a day-one console release on March 13th.

Historically, Microsoft has added day-one titles to the standard Xbox Game Pass tier roughly six months after their initial release on higher tiers. However, this timeframe can vary, as demonstrated by Galacticare, which debuted on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate in May 2024 and is now joining the standard tier in March 2025.

33 Immortals, the latest offering from the creators of Spiritfarer, enters Xbox Game Preview on March 18th.  This innovative roguelike designed for 33 players promises a unique cooperative experience. The duration of its early access period remains undisclosed.

The second wave of March 2025 titles is expected to be announced around the same time as 33 Immortals' arrival on March 18th.  This second wave is already confirmed to include Atomfall, set to launch on PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on March 27th.
