The upcoming Nintendo Switch 2, unveiled in January 2025, has gamers eager to discover its game lineup. While Nintendo has only officially confirmed a new Mario Kart title, numerous rumors suggest a diverse range of third-party games are also in development.

One of the most compelling rumors involves Bandai Namco's Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero.  This 2024 fighting game achieved significant commercial success and critical acclaim, making it a prime candidate for a Switch 2 port.  The leak originates from reputable source eXtas1s, lending further credence to the speculation.

Beyond Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, other Bandai Namco games are also rumored for the Switch 2.  Tekken 8, another popular fighting game franchise, is a potential contender. Additionally, rumors persist regarding a Switch 2 port of FromSoftware's acclaimed open-world RPG, Elden Ring. These rumors, dating back to 2024, suggest the port might even include the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.

The viability of these ports, however, hinges on the Switch 2's technical capabilities.  While Nintendo has remained tight-lipped about detailed specifications, conflicting reports from insiders have created uncertainty about the console's power.  It's widely anticipated that the Switch 2 will be a significant upgrade from its predecessor, capable of handling more demanding games.
