Where Winds Meet, the highly anticipated historical action RPG developed by Everstone Studio and published by NetEase Games, is set to launch globally on PC and PlayStation 5 in 2025. The game, which has already seen successful releases in China, offers players an immersive open-world experience set during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period of 10th-century China.

Following in the footsteps of other notable Chinese-developed titles like Black Myth: Wukong and Phantom Blade Zero, Where Winds Meet combines rich storytelling with intense martial arts combat. Players take on the role of a young martial artist navigating a world filled with political intrigue and epic battles. The game initially launched in China in December 2024 for PC, followed by a mobile version in January 2025.

The developers have announced closed beta tests for Where Winds Meet, which will be available to players in the US, Canada, Japan, and Korea. Registrations are open until May 15, with the beta running from May 16 to May 19. Participants will have the chance to explore the game's world and combat mechanics, though progress will not carry over to the full release. Additionally, players can earn in-game rewards by completing specific tasks or through a lucky draw.

The latest trailer showcases the game's stunning visuals and dynamic combat, drawing comparisons to classic wuxia films like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.
