The urban action RPG, Zenless Zone Zero, continues to expand its world and challenges with the upcoming Version 1.7 update.  While HoYoverse has officially confirmed the arrival of playable characters Hugo Vlad and Vivian, previously seen as NPCs in the "Grand Marcel Adventure" event, leaks suggest a much larger content drop is on the horizon.

One of the most exciting rumors revolves around a new boss.  Leaked images showcase an imposing Ethereal enemy, boasting spiked claws and a hulking physique. Speculation suggests this formidable foe is a variant of the existing "Corrupted Bandit: Ruthless Fiend" Elite enemy.  Whether this new iteration will appear as an "Expert Challenge" or a "Notorious Hunt" remains to be seen.

This new boss joins a growing roster of challenging enemies recently added to the game. Version 1.6 saw the introduction of the "Lumberjack mecha" to the "Expert Challenge" mode, providing players with new opportunities to gather leveling materials.  Prior updates introduced the "Sacrifice - Bringer" as a formidable "Notorious Hunt" challenge and a key figure in Version 1.4's storyline.

Beyond the new boss and characters, Version 1.7 is rumored to bring back the popular "Grand Marcel Adventure" event, which previously debuted in Version 1.5.  Leaks also hint at the addition of two new Bangboos and re-runs for fan-favorite characters Jane Doe and Lighter.
