The highly anticipated Patch 7.2, Seekers of Eternity, for Final Fantasy XIV is set to launch on Tuesday, March 25th, following a 24-hour maintenance period on March 24th.  Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida confirmed the release date during the 86th Letter from the Producer Live. This substantial update promises a plethora of new features and improvements, making it one of the largest updates to date.

Players can look forward to exploring the new Underkeep dungeon, challenging the Recollection trial, and embarking on adventures in the Occult Crescent field operation.  The update also introduces the exciting Cosmic Exploration feature, adding another layer of depth to the already expansive world of Eorzea.

Beyond the thrilling new content, Patch 7.2 introduces several quality-of-life changes, including a new "jog" function.  This feature allows players to maintain a brisk pace after sprinting in cities or hubs, streamlining navigation and enhancing the overall player experience.

Among the anticipated features is the Arcadion's Cruiserweight tier, with Normal mode releasing on March 25th and Savage mode following on April 1st. Job adjustments are also on the horizon, with buffs for Melee DPS and even a rare nerf for the Pictomancer, as confirmed by Yoshida.  Further details on these job changes will be revealed during the server maintenance period.

The rollout of Patch 7.2 content will continue over the following weeks. Cosmic Exploration becomes accessible on April 22nd with Patch 7.21, while Patch 7.25, arriving on May 27th, introduces the Occult Crescent, Mamool Ja gatherer quests, and the next chapter in the beloved Hildibrand saga.

Players can also acquire new gear inspired by Final Fantasy IX.  With this extensive list of additions and improvements, Seekers of Eternity promises to be a significant and memorable update for Final Fantasy XIV.
