Pocketpair has announced a more precise release window for the crossplay feature in their popular survival shooter, Palworld.  Despite facing legal challenges, the game has seen significant success since its January 2024 launch and is poised for further growth in its second year.

Cross-platform support has been a highly requested feature since the game's initial release.  Pocketpair first confirmed crossplay functionality just days after launch, but details have been scarce until recently.  A recent tweet from the official Palworld account confirmed the update will arrive in late March 2025, enabling multiplayer across all platforms.

In celebration of its first anniversary, Palworld has shared a roadmap outlining upcoming plans for the game's early access period.  The roadmap, revealed via Twitter on March 12, confirms the late March 2025 release window for crossplay and specifies that it will connect players across all available platforms.

This timely update comes as Palworld boasts an impressive player base exceeding 32 million across all platforms. With crossplay on the horizon, these millions of players can soon connect and play together regardless of their chosen system.

Alongside the crossplay announcement, Pocketpair also revealed a limited-time 25% discount on Palworld across all platforms.  The discount on the PlayStation Store is currently set to run through March 27, suggesting it may continue until the crossplay update launches.  This combined with the upcoming update could further propel the game's success following the positive reception of the Feybreak update, which saw a significant resurgence in player activity.
