After years of dormancy, the iconic 90s platformer, Gex, is making a comeback. Limited Run Games has announced the Gex Trilogy, bringing all three original games – Gex, Gex: Enter the Gecko, and Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko – to modern platforms in Summer 2025.

The return of Kao the Kangaroo this year ignited hopes for other classic platformer mascots to re-emerge, and Gex answers the call.  The Limited Run Games announcement confirms the trilogy's release on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam, with physical editions also planned.
