A new Marvel Rivals theory is gaining traction, suggesting that the developers may have already teased the game's next map: the mutant haven, Krakoa.

The Galacta's Cosmic Adventure event, running from March 7 to April 11, features a board game-style map with six regions representing existing in-game locations.  However, a seventh, obscured section with a countdown timer has sparked speculation.

This mysterious area, depicting floating rocks similar to Krakoa's landscape, has led players like Reddit user BakeMate to believe it's a teaser for a new map.

Further fueling the theory is a reward from the Galacta's Cosmic Adventure event: a 'Damaged Cerebro' spray.  The design of the Cerebro headset in the spray resembles the version Professor X wore on Krakoa, further linking the event to the mutant island.

Adding to the intrigue are in-game character dialogues.  Doctor Doom's mention of attending a 'gala' is thought to be a reference to the Hellfire Gala, a significant event held on Krakoa in the Marvel comics.  Other characters, including Wolverine, Scarlet Witch, and Magneto, have also dropped lines alluding to the living island since the game's launch.
