Season 1 of Marvel Rivals, Eternal Night Falls, has been a resounding success for NetEase Games, breaking concurrent player records on Steam and boasting over 40 million players since its December 2024 launch.  Excitement is already building for Season 2, with leaks and rumors swirling about its content.

A prominent Marvel Rivals leaker, X0X_Leak, suggests a possible April 11 launch date for Season 2.  This has ignited speculation within the community, with many anticipating the introduction of new playable characters.

Many believe Blade will finally join the roster, given his current predicament within the Central Park map's Dracula's lair.  Emma Frost is another popular contender, fueled by leaked voice lines from Wolverine and Psylocke referencing the powerful mutant. Speculation points towards her potentially filling the Vanguard role.

While Season 1 focused on the Fantastic Four, NetEase has confirmed that Season 2 will only introduce two new heroes, aiming for a new character release every six weeks.  This measured approach allows for more focused development and potentially deeper integration of each new hero into the game's meta.
