CI Games has rolled out the highly anticipated Version 2.0 update for Lords of the Fallen, bringing a host of new features and improvements to the acclaimed soulslike action RPG. This major update introduces shared progression cross-play co-op, a free Friend's Pass, an overhauled character creator, and numerous combat refinements. Since its debut in late 2023, Lords of the Fallen has received over 50 updates, showcasing the developers' commitment to polishing the game.

Despite facing layoffs in mid-2024, CI Games has continued to support Lords of the Fallen with consistent updates. The game, a spiritual successor to the 2014 title, sold over one million copies within its first ten days. • Lamp Guidance: A new feature helps players navigate the labyrinthine world of Mournstead by revealing the path to the next Vestige.
• Character Creator Overhaul: Updated facial options, textures, and body shapes enable more realistic and customizable avatars.
• Dedicated Jump Button: Players can now jump anytime without needing to sprint, improving platforming precision.
