Forza Horizon 5 Midnight Muscle Update: Neon Nights, New Cars, and Community Choices
2025-01-27 05:43:15Forza Horizon 5 is gearing up for a vibrant start to 2025 with the release of its 'Midnight Muscle' update on January 28th. This neon-themed update promises a plethora of new content for players to enjoy, from sleek muscle cars to electrifying decorations and engaging community events.
The update revives the popular Evolving World features, including extended night cycles and the dazzling Neon Airstrip and Drone Show from Midnights at Horizons. Players can also expect to find neon decorations adorning the Aeródromo en la Selva and incorporated into races, adding a vibrant touch to the Mexican landscape.
Car enthusiasts will be thrilled with the addition of two unlockable muscle cars: the powerful 2022 Dodge Challenger SRT Super Stock and the iconic 1995 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R. These vehicles will be available through the Midnight Muscle Festival Playlist, which runs until February 28th.
Adding to the neon festivities, players can capture stunning visuals with Neon Tank Photo Decorations in Photo Challenges. A special Neon Cube Collectible will also be hidden at the Horizon Street Scene Outpost during the fourth week of the festival playlist, offering a rewarding treasure hunt for dedicated players.
Beyond the neon lights and high-octane races, the Midnight Muscle update introduces a nostalgic element with a new cinematic start screen selection feature. Players can now choose from cinematics from previous Forza Horizon games, including the original game's Colorado Horizon Festival start screen, the Italian Automotive start screen, and the Horizon Retrowave start screen, bringing a total of seven options.
Forza Horizon 5 is also empowering its community by introducing a voting system for the next Festival Playlist. From January 30th to February 28th, players can vote between the Italian Automotive and High Performance Festival Playlists, deciding which theme will take center stage in March 2025. Similar to previous updates, the winning playlist will be accompanied by a significant content update.
Finally, the Midnight Muscle update addresses some lingering bugs, including an issue with the order of car purchases in the Backstage Shop. Cosmetic bugs affecting the 1971 Nissan Skyline 2000 GTR and 2014 Ford UTE have also been resolved, ensuring a smoother and more polished gaming experience.
