The acclaimed RPG, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, receives its first major content update on March 12th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.  This free update introduces the highly anticipated barber feature, allowing players to personalize their character, Henry, with various hairstyles and beard styles.  The patch also addresses several bugs and implements official mod support for PC players.

Since its launch, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has quickly become a prominent title in the RPG genre.  While players continue to explore the rich world of Kuttenberg and refine their skills, developer Warhorse Studios remains committed to expanding the game's content.  A post-launch roadmap outlines several free updates for Spring 2025, along with three planned DLC expansions: Brushes with Death (Summer), Legacy of the Forge (Autumn), and Mysteria Ecclesia (Winter).

This update comes as welcome news to fans who have eagerly awaited additional content. Warhorse Studios initially announced PC mod support in February shortly after the game's release.  Now, with the official release date confirmed via the Kingdom Come Instagram account, players can look forward to the enhanced customization and community-driven content that modding allows.

The upcoming patch, version 1.2, specifically addresses bug fixes, introduces the barber feature, and integrates modding capabilities.  The integration suggests that mod support will be facilitated through Steamworks. While the game has enjoyed critical acclaim and commercial success, it hasn't been without its technical challenges. Players have notably voiced concerns about graphical glitches, particularly concerning rain textures. Some have encountered rain occurring indoors and lightning strikes visible within caves.  The upcoming bug fixes offer hope that these issues will be resolved.
