A new trailer for Lies of P: Overture has provided further insight into the DLC's storyline, particularly focusing on the enigmatic 'Legendary Stalker' known as Lea.

This second teaser, premiered at IGN Fan Fest 2025, follows the DLC's initial announcement during the mid-February PlayStation State of Play event.  While it raises more questions than it answers, the trailer offers intriguing glimpses into the narrative.

Developed by Round8 Studio and published by Neowiz, Lies of P: Overture is a prequel to the popular soulslike game. It delves into the events leading up to the devastating Puppet Frenzy that ravaged Krat.

Lea's role in the DLC appears significant, with the trailer emphasizing her connection to the story.  Described as being driven by vengeance, she is a member of the Stalker faction and is somehow linked to Geppetto’s Puppet.

The trailer also highlights an association between Lea and roses, a recurring motif from the DLC's reveal. Whether this symbolism holds deeper meaning remains to be seen.

The storyline suggests a bleak outlook for Lea, aligning with the overall tone of Lies of P.  Neowiz has stated that Overture will explore Lea's fate and her connection to Geppetto's creation, but her absence from the main game doesn't bode well.

Set before the fall of Krat, Overture promises to provide crucial context for the events of the base game. Players will witness the unfolding tragedy that precedes the Puppet Frenzy and learn more about the world's descent into chaos.

With a targeted summer 2025 release, Lies of P: Overture is expected to launch close to the base game’s second anniversary.  Pre-orders are not yet available on the Playstation Store but you can wishlist the DLC on Xbox Store and Steam. Pricing details are yet to be revealed, but should be announced soon given the approaching release window.
