A new puzzle-platformer, Once Upon A Puppet, is making waves with its intriguing gameplay and striking visuals, drawing comparisons to beloved titles like LittleBigPlanet.  Developer Flatter Than Earth and publisher Daedalic Entertainment have unveiled a fresh trailer and released a playable demo during the Steam Next Fest, giving players an early taste of the game ahead of its launch on PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S.

Blending the familiar platforming mechanics of games like LittleBigPlanet with the captivating aesthetic and thematic depth reminiscent of titles like Lies of P, Once Upon A Puppet promises a unique 2.5D experience. Players are transported to a whimsical yet mysterious theatrical realm, steeped in long-lost narratives and shrouded secrets.

Set in the vibrant 2.5D Kingdom of Theater, Once Upon A Puppet tells the story of Nieve, a banished Stagehand, and Drev, a puppet, bound together by an interwoven destiny. Players will wield the magical glove of Nieve to control Drev, solving imaginative puzzles, interacting with a diverse cast of characters, confronting menacing creatures, and manipulating the stage backdrops to progress through this enchanting tale of friendship and redemption.

The gameplay emphasizes the art of puppetry, requiring players to master Drev's movements and abilities to overcome obstacles and progress.
