Walking Wake and Iron Leaves Return to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Tera Raids
2025-02-17 10:02:36Trainers get ready! Paradox Pokemon Walking Wake and Iron Leaves are making a comeback in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. These sought-after creatures will be appearing as five-star Tera Raid bosses for a limited time, offering a second chance for those who missed them previously.
This event is particularly timely, falling just before the annual Pokemon Day celebrations at the end of February. Players looking to complete their Pokedex or add these powerful Pokemon to their teams will have roughly a week to challenge these raids.
Walking Wake, an ancient relative of Suicune, will be exclusive to Pokemon Scarlet. It boasts a Water and Dragon dual-type pairing, with a Water Tera type for these raids. Meanwhile, Iron Leaves, a futuristic counterpart to Virizion, is exclusive to Pokemon Violet and possesses Grass and Psychic typing, taking on a Psychic Tera type in the raids.
Both Pokemon will appear at level 75, presenting a formidable challenge even for experienced trainers. Defeating them will yield valuable rewards such as EXP Candies and rare Berries, but each can only be caught once per save file. This means trainers who already possess these Paradox Pokemon won't be able to catch duplicates.
This limited-time event provides another opportunity for players to prepare for the upcoming Pokemon Day festivities. With Pokemon Legends: Z-A on the horizon, the timing of this event leads to speculation about potential announcements during the annual celebration.
