The upcoming WWE 2K25 boasts a stacked roster featuring wrestling legends and current superstars. However, fans hoping to play as rising star Penta will be disappointed to learn he won't be included in the game's launch lineup on March 14th.

The official roster reveal confirmed the inclusion of many major WWE personalities, both past and present, even featuring some recently released wrestlers. The roster's finalization date, likely predating Penta's WWE debut in January, explains his absence.

WWE 2K25 breaks a 14-year streak dating back to WWE '12.  Since his January debut, Penta has quickly made a name for himself, impressing fans with victories over established stars like Chad Gable, a strong Royal Rumble performance, and continued success on Raw.  His captivating presence and crowd reactions suggest a bright future, but his recent arrival means he won't be playable in WWE 2K25 at launch.

A similar situation occurred with CM Punk's 2023 return, too late for inclusion in the initial WWE 2K24 roster.  He was later added as DLC.  While Penta's popularity is undeniable, he may not have the same immediate draw as CM Punk, potentially impacting the urgency of his DLC inclusion.  While DLC is a possibility, it's not guaranteed.

If Penta remains with WWE, his presence in WWE 2K26's base roster is almost certain. Although fans can hold out hope for Penta's arrival as WWE 2K25 DLC, no official announcement has been made. It's advisable to temper expectations for now.
