Bethesda and Microsoft have revealed the exciting contents of the Doom: The Dark Ages Collector's Edition, arriving alongside the standard edition on May 15, 2025, for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S consoles.  This new installment takes the iconic Doom Slayer into uncharted territory, trading the fiery depths of hell for a medieval fantasy setting.

The Doom franchise has enjoyed a remarkable resurgence since its 2016 reboot.  Following the success of Doom Eternal in 2020, The Dark Ages promises a fresh and ambitious take on the series.  Instead of the familiar sci-fi landscapes, players will explore a world of dragons, castles, and ancient ruins, wielding both classic and all-new weapons against demonic hordes.

Recently, a hands-off preview offered a glimpse into the gameplay of Doom: The Dark Ages, showcasing the scale and intensity of the Doom Slayer's latest adventure. This new installment is set to be the biggest and most thrilling entry yet.

Doom: The Dark Ages will also launch on Xbox Game Pass on May 15, 2025, providing subscribers with immediate access.  For those seeking a more immersive experience, the Collector's Edition, priced at $199.99 USD, offers a treasure trove of exclusive items.

The centerpiece of the Collector's Edition is a stunning 12-inch statue of the Doom Slayer. Reflecting the medieval aesthetic, the Doom Slayer is clad in knightly armor and a flowing cape while retaining the iconic green and design elements of the classic suit. The statue also features two signature weapons from The Dark Ages: the Shield Saw and the Super Shotgun.

The Collector's Edition also includes a SteelBook case adorned with hellish runes and a replica Red Keycard.  While the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions include a physical game disc, the PC version offers a digital game code.  Beyond the physical items, the bundle grants access to future campaign DLC, including the Divinity Skin Pack featuring matching cosmetic skins for the Doom Slayer, the dragon companion, and the character Atlan. Additionally, all pre-orders, regardless of edition, unlock the Void Doom Slayer skin at launch.

Pre-ordering any edition grants the Void Doom Slayer skin. Early access, up to two days before the official release, is another perk for Collector's Edition owners.
