Contrary to expectations set by Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny's DRM-free release, the upcoming FPS title Doom Darktide will utilize Denuvo's anti-piracy technology, as revealed on its Steam page.

This means Doom Darktide will not only carry a higher price tag ($70) than previous Bethesda titles but also include the often-debated Denuvo DRM.

Adding to the discussion are the recently revealed PC system requirements, which are quite demanding.  Even achieving 1080p resolution with low settings necessitates an RTX 2060, while targeting 2K with high settings requires a powerful RTX 3080.  Furthermore, a 100GB NVMe SSD is listed as a mandatory requirement, raising concerns about storage space.
