The National Press and Publication Administration (NPPA) recently announced the approval of domestic and imported online games for February 2025, and among them was the highly anticipated Plants vs. Zombies 3.  Following the announcement, the official Plants vs. Zombies 3 Weibo account celebrated the good news and confirmed that pre-registration has begun on major Android platforms, including taptap.

The official announcement included a playful message hinting at the excitement surrounding the game's upcoming launch, inviting players to join in a new "Year of the Snake" adventure.

In July of the previous year, the game developers reached out to the community via an open letter.  Producer Panda Nut revealed that the Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 3 will retain the beloved card-deck customization features from its predecessors while incorporating distinctive Chinese cultural elements.  These additions include unique plants, zombies, and map designs, promising players a diverse and engaging strategic experience.

Furthermore, the development team emphasized their commitment to community feedback.  The Chinese version will facilitate player interaction and establish a creative platform where players can share ideas and even collaborate with developers, contributing to future game content.
