Pokemon GO trainers have a limited-time opportunity to snag some powerful Unova region legendary Pokemon.  Niantic has released three unique codes that unlock special Timed Research tasks, offering encounters with these coveted Pokemon.

These codes are a rare treat for players, adding excitement and a sense of urgency to the game. Unlike frequently available bonuses, these code drops make for special occasions within the Pokemon GO community.

The three active codes grant access to specific Timed Research lines.  Use code 4RD3GGA4ZMEGP for Tornadus Timed Research, 4Q4UZLY6MUH9K for Thundurus Timed Research, and 9PTA874LYDAJH for Landorus Timed Research. To successfully complete the research and encounter the Incarnate Formes of these legendaries, players need to catch 156 Pokemon originally discovered in the Unova region before the deadline.

These limited-time codes are part of the larger Go Tour: Unova event celebrating the Generation 5 games, Pokemon Black and White.  This event brings a wealth of Unova-themed content to the game.

In addition to the Timed Research, trainers can embark on a new Special Research story titled 'It's Not Over Yet.'  This research line lets players choose between Reshiram and Zekrom-themed rewards.  It becomes available on March 1st at 10:00 AM local time, coinciding with the expiration of the Bonus Timed Research.

The Go Tour: Unova event also offers new avatar cosmetics and other in-game bonuses.

The timing of this Unova-focused event aligns with speculation surrounding potential remakes of Pokemon Black and White.  These rumors are further fueled by upcoming plans for the Pokemon Trading Card Game.  Fans anticipate more news during the Pokemon Day event on February 27th.

Pokemon Day promises further announcements related to Pokemon GO, encouraging players to tune in to the showcase starting at 8:00 AM CST.
