Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2: Lawless has officially launched, introducing a heist-themed experience filled with new content, gameplay improvements, and exciting collaborations. Players can now download and install the latest patch on all supported platforms, including PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile devices.

The new season immerses players in a world of heists, with new locations like Crime City, Outlaw Oasis, Shiny Shafts, and Lonewolf Lair waiting to be explored. These locations offer unique opportunities for players to engage in heist-related activities and discover hidden treasures.

The Fortnite island has undergone a complete overhaul, with new features like Black Markets scattered across the map. Players can spend their Dill Bits and Gold Bars at these markets to acquire Mythic and Legendary items or helpful Boons.

The Chapter 6 Season 2 Battle Pass is here, offering both free and premium rewards. Players can earn XP in any Fortnite experience to level up the Battle Pass.  The premium Battle Pass, available for 1,000 V-Bucks, includes seven new outfits, including Cassidy Quinn, Joss, Fletcher Kane, Valentina, Big Dill, Keisha Cross, and Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat 3.

The Fortnite x Mortal Kombat collaboration extends beyond the Sub-Zero outfit. Players can also equip Sub-Zero's Kombat Kit, empowering them with ice slides and frosty fist attacks. New weapons and items like The Kneecapper, Falcon Eye Sniper, Collateral Damage Assault Rifle, and Rocket Drill are also available.

Crime City serves as the heart of the heist-themed action. Players can rob Fletcher Kane's banks, hijack armored cars, and even pull off a train robbery. The Island is overflowing with Bars, and every player is vying for a piece of the action.  New locations like the Hostile Hotel, Wise Guys Bookstore, and the Launder Mat offer unique heisting opportunities.

Outlaw Oasis provides a luxurious escape for burglars to relax and recover, while Shiny Shafts, Fletcher Kane's mining operation, becomes a highly contested area. Players can also challenge Kane's empire at his mansion hideout, Lonewolf Lair.

Fletcher Kane acts as the Island's mob boss, appearing at inopportune moments during heists. Defeating him rewards players with the Mythic Fletcher Kane's Double Down Pistol and the Unstoppable Medallion. The demon warrior Shogun X also roams the Island, rewarding the Super Shield Medallion upon defeat.

Big Dill, the latest rap artist in Fortnite, joins the fray with his partner The Brat, forming the Tasty Bois.  Their new single “Runamok” is available as a Jam Track in the Battle Pass.  Big Dill introduces his own in-game currency, Dill Bits, adding another layer to the heisting experience.

Players can immerse themselves in Gold Rush by swimming in gold-infused water or mining Gold Veins.  Dill Bits, found in vaults, offer high value but don't carry over between matches. Black Markets allow players to spend their Dill Bits and Gold Bars on Mythic and Legendary items and helpful Boons.

Fletcher Kane's armored transport convoys and his heavily guarded armored train offer high-risk, high-reward heist opportunities. New items like Thermite, the Plasma Burst Laser, and the Rocket Drill aid in vault busting, while weapons like the Collateral Damage Assault Rifle and Falcon Eye Sniper provide an edge in combat.

New utility items such as the Port-A-Cover and Pulse Scanner offer tactical advantages, while the Med-Mist Grenade and Gold Splash provide healing and Gold Rush boosts.  Sub-Zero's Kombat Kit allows players to unleash icy attacks and slide into opponents.

The LAWLESS Battle Pass includes a variety of Outfits and accessories, including the Outlaw Midas Outfit unlockable through Battle Pass Quests in March.  Starting March 1, players can complete COWBOY BEBOP Quests for XP and unlock rewards like the COWBOY BEBOP Wrap and BEBOP Legends Loading Screen.  Spike Spiegel and Faye Valentine Outfits will be available in the Fortnite Shop starting February 28.

A new feature called Moments allows players to choose music tracks to play when dropping from the Battle Bus and after achieving a Victory Royale. The Chapter 6 Season 2 Competitive Details blog post provides information on the updated Compete tab and tournament offerings.

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2: Lawless concludes on May 2.  The first Victory Royale earned this season awards The Vaultbrella.
