Phasmophobia's Bleasdale Farmhouse Gets a Terrifying Transformation
2025-03-09 16:09:05Bleasdale Farmhouse, one of the original maps in the hit 2020 horror game Phasmophobia, has undergone a terrifyingly impressive renovation as part of a recent update.
This two-story farmhouse with an attic space, boasting a total of 21 rooms, was described by developer Kinetic Games as "an ideal location for budding ghost hunters to spend a potentially terrifying night."
Following this "major renovation," the farmhouse now features a completely redesigned layout, brand new areas including a tea room and a trophy room, and updated visuals. Fan-favorite elements like the fireplace, piano, and the ever-popular, circle-able dining table remain.
Kinetic Games highlighted some of the changes: "The new dining room is larger than before with a grand dining table in the center and plenty of new breakable items for the ghosts to play with. The living room will have a grand fireplace, a grand piano, and some luxurious red leather sofas, perfect for covering in blood on a cozy night in."
Players can also explore the new tea room and trophy room, each filled with intriguing collectibles – "if you consider collections of pet plates and ominous relics to be intriguing," Kinetic Games quipped.
Perhaps the most chilling addition is the inclusion of Bleasdale's revamped garden as a ghost room. This is unwelcome news for players who tend to cower near doorways.
Since its full release in October, following a period in early access, the ghost-hunting simulator has sold 2 million copies on consoles, bringing its total sales across all platforms to an impressive 22 million.
Last month, Kinetic Games outlined their roadmap for Phasmophobia in 2025, confirming map reworks, new ghost-hunting equipment, "exciting seasonal events," and an entirely new game location.
