Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Update 3 Coming in February with Bug Fixes and New Features

The highly acclaimed Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will receive its third update in February, as confirmed by developer MachineGames.  Launched in December 2024, the game garnered positive reviews, averaging an 87 score on OpenCritic, marking a triumphant return for the Indiana Jones franchise to the gaming world after over a decade.  Despite its successful reception, the launch was not without its issues, and this upcoming update aims to address several reported bugs and introduce new features.

The February update, coming to both PC and Xbox platforms, will focus on resolving issues based on player feedback. A significant bug preventing some players from achieving 100% completion due to difficulties with vine climbing in Sukhothai will finally be fixed.  Furthermore, Update 3 will incorporate new graphical features and options, including support for NVIDIA's latest Blackwell GPUs for PC players.  While the precise release date remains undisclosed, the recent announcement suggests an early February launch.

MachineGames has been actively addressing player concerns since the game's release. While it missed the window for The Game Awards, the game's success hasn't gone unnoticed.  Earlier this month, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle earned recognition for Troy Baker's performance as Indy at the 14th Annual New York Game Awards.  The game's popularity has fueled speculation about Disney's interest in further Indiana Jones game development, as reported by journalist Jez Corden. Although official sales figures are still pending, the potential for future installments seems promising.
