Pokemon GO is set to deliver a thrilling March for trainers with a variety of events and opportunities, headlined by a special Raid Day featuring Mega Absol.

This exciting event will take place on March 23rd from 2 PM to 5 PM local time, giving players a chance to challenge and capture the Mega-Evolved form of this powerful Dark-type Pokemon.

During and after the Raid Day, Absol will be able to learn the Charged Attack Brutal Swing, boosting its offensive capabilities in both trainer battles and Gym/Raid encounters with 55 and 65 power, respectively.

Pokemon GO is also implementing a welcome change for trainers by increasing storage limits for both Pokemon and items. This allows players to expand their collections and manage resources more effectively.

To further enhance the Raid Day experience, the Remote Raid Pass limit will be temporarily increased to 20 from March 20th at 5 PM to March 23rd at 8 PM. Players can obtain five additional passes by spinning Gym Photo Discs, increasing the chances of encountering a coveted Shiny Mega Absol.

For trainers seeking to maximize their Raid Day gains, a paid ticket priced at $5 will be available.  This ticket grants eight extra Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs, a heightened chance of receiving Candy XL from raids, 50% bonus XP, and double Stardust for participating in Mega Absol raids.

Adding even more value, Pokemon GO will introduce Timed Research with rewards of 10,000 Stardust, along with an additional 1,000 Stardust bonus. The Pokemon GO Web Store will offer a special $5 box containing an event ticket and a bonus Premium Battle Pass.

Beyond Mega Absol, other Mega Evolution opportunities abound throughout March. Until March 13th, Mega Lucario will grace Mega Raids, followed by Mega Marshtomp until March 22nd. Finally, Mega Pinsir will take the spotlight in Mega Raids from March 22nd to March 31st.

Adding to the excitement, several Legendary Pokemon will be available in five-star raids.  Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres will be present until March 13th, followed by Tapu Koko, who wields Nature's Madness, until March 22nd.  Lastly, the Legendary Pokemon Heatran will be featured in raids until March 31st.

For trainers focused on expanding their Pokedex records with Max Pokemon, Dynamax Drilbur will be available in Max Battles until March 10th. This will be followed by Dynamax Chansey (until March 17th), Dynamax Caterpie (until March 23rd), and Dynamax Scorbunny (until March 29th).
