Behaviour Interactive, the studio behind the popular asymmetrical horror game Dead by Daylight, recently visited Japan to announce an exciting new crossover event.  Starting April 3rd, the world of  Dead by Daylight will collide with the grim reality of Tokyo Ghoul, introducing Ken Kaneki, the manga's protagonist, as a terrifying new killer.

Instead of the morally grey area he occupies in the original Tokyo Ghoul storyline, Kaneki's Dead by Daylight incarnation fully embraces his monstrous side.  Lost and tormented within the Entity's fog-shrouded realm, he becomes a formidable predator, a relentless killer driven by his inner turmoil.

In an interview during their visit, Behaviour Interactive developer Richard discussed the unique appeal of Japanese anime and its growing popularity in the West.  He explained that portraying Kaneki as a killer in Dead by Daylight serves to highlight the immense internal struggle and suppressed darkness that defines the character.
