Koei Tecmo Executive Vice President Yosuke Hayashi and Team Ninja head Fumihiko Yasuda recently shed light on the crucial role PlayStation Studios played in bringing Rise of the Ronin to life. In an interview with RPG Site, Hayashi intimated that the game's development wouldn't have even begun without Sony Interactive Entertainment's financial backing.

During the RPG Site interview, Hayashi and Yasuda addressed questions regarding PlayStation Studios' contribution.  They emphasized the significance of this support, stating the project "couldn't have launched" without it.

PlayStation's involvement proved instrumental during the development of Rise of the Ronin's PS5 version.  The company provided valuable feedback on accessibility features and enhancing onboarding precision, which Team Ninja describes as a "significant learning experience."

Speaking about the PC version, Yasuda explained that Team Ninja utilized feedback received from PS5 players to further refine the overall experience.  While the game content remains consistent across platforms, this player input, combined with the studio's developmental expertise, played a key role in tailoring the experience for diverse PC configurations.  Given the game's substantial data footprint, Yasuda highlighted the team's focus on delivering stable frame rates, ensuring players can fully enjoy Rise of the Ronin's dynamic action gameplay.

Addressing the possibility of future content, Yasuda stated there are currently no plans for DLC.
