Steamforged Games, known for their tabletop adaptations of popular video games like Dark Souls, Elden Ring, and Sea of Thieves, has announced a board game based on the co-op shooter Helldivers 2. The announcement has ignited excitement among fans eager to experience the fight for democracy from a new perspective.

The Helldivers 2 board game boasts an impressive design team, including veterans who worked on acclaimed projects such as Monster Hunter World: The Board Game, The Walking Dead: Something to Fear, and Devil May Cry: The Bloody Palace.

Released in February 2024 by Arrowhead Game Studios, Helldivers 2 quickly garnered attention for its challenging co-op gameplay and cinematic presentation.  Players control an elite force of shock troops battling to protect humanity from various alien threats.  Its striking cinematography and intense action sequences against hordes of enemies draw comparisons to other visually stunning titles like Battlefield 1, Tekken 8, and Space Marine 2.
