The recently released Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is proving to be a treasure trove of secrets, captivating players with its immersive medieval world and surprising Easter eggs.  From nods to modern classics like Cyberpunk 2077 to whimsical references to beloved fairy tales, the game is packed with delightful discoveries for those with a keen eye.

One particularly amusing find is the appearance of an NPC named Johann Silverfist. This character's name is a clear homage to Johnny Silverhand, the iconic character from the Cyberpunk franchise portrayed by Keanu Reeves in Cyberpunk 2077. This clever Easter egg has sparked excitement among fans, demonstrating the developers' playful approach to world-building.

Locating Johann Silverfist is an adventure in itself. Players can encounter him shortly after arriving in Kuttenberg, the game's second region. He is linked to the Kuttenberg Tournament quest, accessible after completing the Ars Dimicatoria quest. To initiate Ars Dimicatoria, players must intervene in a street brawl north of the Iron Eagle Tavern during daylight hours. Once that quest is completed, speaking with Menhard van Frankfurt at the city's Swordfighting Guild will unlock the Kuttenberg Tournament. This repeatable quest features a cast of named characters, including the elusive Johann Silverfist.

This isn't the first time Warhorse Studios has paid tribute to fellow game developers CD Projekt Red.  The original Kingdom Come: Deliverance contained several Easter eggs referencing The Witcher series, including a horse named Roach – a playful nod to Geralt of Rivia's trusty steed.  Players could find Roach at the Merhojed stables, and conversing with the stable owner would trigger a humorous dialogue about Roach being sold by a mysterious "Polish fellow."

Johann Silverfist is just one of many Easter eggs hidden within Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.  The game also features references to classic fairy tales like Puss in Boots and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, as well as nods to modern titles like Elden Ring. These hidden gems add another layer of enjoyment to the game, rewarding players for their exploration and attention to detail.
