A new visual for the upcoming Elden Ring: Shadows Die Twice has been revealed, accompanied by the tagline "Victory is born of strength and unity."

The use of the word "Concord" in the original Japanese announcement has sparked humorous speculation among fans.  Some players jokingly questioned whether the game would feature a crossover with the MMORPG Chorus (originally titled Concord in Japan), referencing the latter's unfortunate fate. The sentiment online reflects a superstitious belief among some fans that any game using the name is doomed to failure.

Several fans have humorously pointed out the apparent irony of using the word "Concord", given the less-than-stellar reception of Chorus, originally titled Concord in Japan.  Some even jokingly suggested a potential crossover between the two games, with comments like "Is this an Elden Ring x Chorus collaboration?".

Elden Ring: Shadows Die Twice is set to launch on PC and consoles on May 30th.  This new title distills the core elements of Elden Ring – including its signature combat, diverse equipment options, and vast world exploration – and blends them with the fast-paced action of roguelike and battle royale gameplay.  Players can expect a condensed and intense experience, with matches lasting approximately 40 minutes.
